I’m not shy when it comes to talking about my love life. It’s also no secret that I’m a social butterfly. So last week, when my co-workers asked me why I was excited to be attending a few Congressional Black Caucus events, I answered honestly; “because my husband might be there.” Just as I was patting myself on the back for garnering some laughs with my cheeky response, one of my co-workers muttered, “I’m pretty sure I swiped left on my husband already!” The room erupted with laughter, but I couldn’t help but wonder, “Did I swipe left on my husband?” Cue mini panic attack.
